What is TED?

TED is a nonpartisan nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. Within TED, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share impactful and innovative thoughts with the intent to stimulate conversation.

Who is TEDxUConnFarmington?

TEDxUConnFarmington, an independently organized TED event, is scheduled for Saturday April 17th, 2021. TEDxUConnFarmington is a 2-3 hour virtual event that will feature pre-recorded presentations from esteemed speakers selected from across Connecticut and other parts of the country. The main theme this year is "Unfolding the Unknown."
